Unveiled at the 2019 North American International Auto Show Ford's 2020 Shelby G.T. 500 is powered by a hand-built 5.2-liter "Predator" aluminum-alloy V8 engine with a 2.65-liter roots-type supercharger with air-to-liquid intercooler tucked in the engine valley. It is noteworthy that this is the opposite design of most roots-type superchargers, where the intercooler is actually above the twin vorticies. The Shelby G.T. 500 produces 760 hp and 625 lb·ft of torque!

    This 2020 Mustang Shelby GT 500 is awesome. This car fits in perfectly with my existing collection of 1:18 scale diecast muscle cars. My only disappointment is that nothing opens. Meaning the hood the doors the trunk do not open. The tires do not roll. Of all the many high-quality cars I have, especially those over $100, all have opening features. Not sure why this GT Spirt made this car like this. Do not recall reading in the details of this car, that it does not have opening features.
