In the 1930's Texaco was a major user of Dodge trucks utilizing the streamlined tank bodies produced at either the Garwood or Heil body plants. The unique Dodge Airflow trucks of 1939 were never regular production trucks with only a few hundred fitted with the streamlined tank truck bodies. All Airflow trucks were "special request", hand-built and were used predominately by major oil companies like Texaco.
