The Focke-Wulf Fw 200C-4 Condor was a German long-range reconnaissance and bomber aircraft used during World War II. Originally designed as a civilian airliner it was adapted for military use by the Luftwaffe primarily for anti-shipping and maritime patrol missions. The Fw 200C-4 featured a robust design with four engines and a large wingspan enabling it to cover vast areas of the Atlantic. Equipped with bombs torpedoes and defensive armament it posed a significant threat to Allied convoys. Despite its vulnerability to fighter aircraft the Fw 200 was effective in disrupting Allied supply lines during the early years of the war.
