Any of the 3,225 '67 Shelby's are collectible and desirable. Of those 3,225 cars, this lone convertible was produced. Ordered by Shelby American after Carroll Shelby's '66 GT350 convertible driver was taken back by Ford, this prototype was built, along with a '67 coupe that was converted into a GT500 hardtop. Brian and his team are responsible for the countless hours of research, documentation and restoration of this legendary car. This 1967 Shelby GT500 Convertible by Acme captures one of the rarest visions of American muscle in detailed 1:18 scale form, finished in classic red with open-air attitude. Limited to just 750 pieces, it represents Shelby's legendary performance engineering paired with the unique appeal of a factory-style convertible GT500. The model features opening hood, doors, and trunk, revealing a finely plumbed and wired GT500 V-8, along with a highly detailed interior that includes working steering and tilting front bucket seats. A removable top and boot add display versatility, while a serialized plate confirms its exclusivity as a premium collector's tribute to Shelby heritage.
