About Artemis II
Artemis II is planned as NASA's first crewed mission of the Artemis program and would send four astronauts beyond low Earth orbit for the first time since Apollo 17 in 1972, using the SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft to perform a lunar flyby before returning to Earth.
