The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American single-engine single-seat fighter and ground-attack aircraft used during World War II. Introduced in 1938 it was known for its rugged design powerful Allison V-1710 engine and distinctive shark-mouth nose art especially with the Flying Tigers in China.
