About Eric Lock

Eric Lock became the RAF's top-scoring Allied pilot during the Battle of Britain while flying with No. 41 Squadron, shooting down 21 German aircraft. After returning from injury, he was posted to No. 611 Squadron at RAF Hornchurch in mid-1941, bringing his total to 26 confirmed victories before he was lost over France on August 3, 1941.
