- 5th Film - Sinking of S-51 In 1925 The USN S-Boat SS-162 S-51 was rammed by the Merchant Steamer SS City of Rome off the New England coast. After several day's of trying to raise the ship all hope was lost. Only 3 men escaped before she sank. S-51 was raised 10 months later and you can see the severe damage that sunk her.
